Keep Lubbock Beautiful Advisory Committee Chair Appointed to Keep Texas Beautiful Board


Keep Texas Beautiful (KTB) announced this week that it appointed Hilary Watkins, the Keep Lubbock Beautiful (KLB) Advisory Committee Chair, to its board of directors.This is the first time someone from Lubbock has been named to the KTB Board.
In its announcement, KTB posted “our new board members bring a wide range of experience and perspectives to KTB. We’re grateful to have them joining us as we continue working together for clean, green and beautiful Texas communities.”
City of Lubbock KLB staff liaison Del Rio Mullen says Watkins is a great fit for the mission of KTB.
“Serving our board since 2023, Hilary has unmatched passion and dedication for ensuring our community is well represented at home and across the state.”
Keep Lubbock Beautiful is the local affiliate of Keep Texas Beautiful and Keep America Beautiful. Its goal is to uphold the tenants of litter reduction, beautification and recycling in Lubbock. Citizen volunteers are the backbone of every one of the programs, and are who Keep Lubbock Beautiful strives to assist in ensuring the city remains clean and welcoming to visitors and neighbors alike.
