Prevention Resource Center Offers Free Drug Prevention Presentations for Red Ribbon Week

In recognition of Red Ribbon Week, October 23–31, Lubbock Public Health’s Prevention Resource Center (PRC) is inviting local schools and classrooms to participate in free drug and substance use prevention presentations designed to educate and empower youth.
The PRC team is dedicated to providing young people with age-appropriate education about the risks associated with drug and substance use while encouraging them to make healthy, informed choices.
Throughout Red Ribbon Week, the PRC team is available to visit local schools and classrooms to provide presentations at no cost. Teachers, counselors, school administrators, and other school professionals are encouraged to schedule a presentation for their students.
Red Ribbon Week is an opportunity for schools, families, and communities to come together to raise awareness about substance use prevention and reinforce the importance of helping young people build healthy, drug-free futures.
