Closing Reception at The Buddy Holly Center
The Buddy Holly Center invites the public to celebrate the West Texas Watercolor Society’s 4th Annual Signature Show at a closing reception on Sunday, September 20, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Fine Arts Gallery. The reception will provide an opportunity for visitors to meet and celebrate with the artists and enjoy the final day of the exhibition.
The West Texas Watercolor Society’s 4th Annual Signature Show features a diverse collection of original watercolor paintings, showcasing the versatility of the medium through a range of subjects, styles, and artistic approaches. From vibrant landscapes and expressive portraits to imaginative contemporary works, the exhibition highlights the depth and beauty of watercolor painting.
This year’s exhibition was juried by nationally recognized watercolor artist Janet Rogers, whose distinguished career spans more than four decades. A Signature Member of numerous prestigious watercolor societies, Rogers has earned national recognition for her award-winning paintings as well as her work as an instructor, leading workshops and demonstrations throughout the United States and Europe.
The public is invited to join the Buddy Holly Center and the West Texas Watercolor Society for the closing reception on Sunday, September 20, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Guests are encouraged to stop by for the final afternoon of the exhibition, which closes at 4:00 p.m.
